So readers I saw a very interesting number this morning. Cities in Montana were colder than the south pole. Combine that with the fact that Montana is having the coldest winter it has in 40 years and you have got yourself a recipe that spells non disasters.

A while back I saw a report as well of how ice sheets had grown in size baffling scientists who say all ice is melting ever wear.

This I am pretty sure disproves global warming. As little as people want to admit it, Montana and the oceans are part of the globe. If you do not see increases all over then its not global. In fact Great Falls Montana set new record lows yesterday, but you do not see me preaching that global cooling is real.

Veterans Losing their 2nd Amendment Rights

I wanted to exercise my fingers a bit today and talk about this story. The information gleaned from the news articles covering this is outraging. This lesbian woman cried foul to the world over something that never happened. She accused some innocent bystanders of attacking her orientation and not tipper her as a waitress because of it. This in fact never happened. The individuals in question have proven they tipped with a credit card receipt.

This is not where the story ends. America in the face of injustice can be incredibly understanding, helpful, and forgiving. This waitress Dayna Morales received thousands in donations that she promised to send to Wounded Warrior Project. WWP cannot verify that they have receive any donations from this woman.

The lies my readers grow even larger. Apparently she says she was injured by a land mine over seas. This is yet another lie presented by this woman who is only capable of being the helpless good guy.

Shawn Haney, a spokesman for the Marines, said in an email to The Journal News that while Morales did serve in the Marines Corps reserve from July 2009 to May 2013, there’s no indication in her record of combat service in Afghanistan or Iraq.

As well as this little tidbit.

According to NBC News: NBC News has also reported that a Pentagon source said Morales was dismissed from the Marine Reserve Corps in May because she was not attending drills and that she was discharged under “less than honorable” conditions.

My friends this is still not the end of this woman’s public deceitfulness. She made claims that her home was essentially destroyed in hurricane Sandy, claiming a boat tore through the living room. Apparently water damage barely made it through the front door.
I take huge issue with this woman. I am going to make a bold statement here. This woman is the reason that regular folk do not enjoy the publicity the gay community commands. There is always an agenda, always an attack even when none exists. Morales created a situation that benefited her, and could have soiled the reputation of regular people.

I served honorably in the USN, and these lies that come from people who have served in any branch disgust me. It has been a very very long time since I have told a lie of any sort and maybe this is why I am so upset. I hold my truthfulness more important than any other character trait, and I guess I expect that from everyone else to.

I do not know if there is any legal standing, but I hope this woman is punished for defrauding charitable Americans, and shaming the face of the Marines.

 

The Big 100!

So my readers I have been at this for just a smidgen over two months and this will be my 100th blog. While I admit many of them are re-blogs, all of the content I have posted I care about, and I hope my words, discombobulated as they may be (YES! Spelled it right on the first try.) have guided and shaped you all in some way.

I wanted to talk today about something that is a bit old, a comment made by a woman named Melissa Harris-Perry who is a host to MSNBC.

I have no children to date. There is no personal reason for that, my wife and I both love kids and desire greatly to have one, it just hasn’t happened. That being said, I personally do not believe that my future children belong to the community. They will be my responsibility. I will feed them with my own money, I will bathe them with my own hands, and I will shape them with my own wisdom.

I am however torn. I recall stories from my grandma about how some people her parents knew would not hesitate to scold her or punish her on the spot if she was misbehaving. I long for the old days when children were behaved, had manners and followed the rules, if for no other reason than to avoid punishment from whomever catches them being bad. The thought of being able to trust others with my future children to that extent scares me some what though.

This is not the real issue with what this host said. The real issue I think is that she proposes the solution to our educational system is to remove the individual parents in exchange for some sort of communist community that rules all by all.

What do you ladies and gents think about this statement from Melissa Harris-Perry? Do your children belong to you? Should they belong to the community? Will sharing responsibility for other children improve anything concerning children?

I Am A Man With No Secrets, And I Tell No Lies!

I have got a bone to pick with you world.

On November 18th Congressman Steve Daines asked people on Facebook to share how Obamacare was affecting them. For my readers that have been with me since day one, you know that this particular policy is a hot topic for me, it is essentially what catapulted me into the blog world.  The ACA forced me to have my voice heard, and my senators refused to hear it so I gladly share my story with anyone who asks on any platform available.

I do not think that Facebook is the proper place for long narratives, and “brevity is the soul of wit” something I have yet to master. When my congressman asked for this information from his constituents I was brief.

I simply said: Mike Theonlyone My wife who had cancer and beat it, was never denied coverage before or after, and now will lose her coverage in 2015 due to this law.

The next comment, called me out, basically saying that was lying, without saying I was lying.
Rob Gregoire Mike – I’m sure you aren’t lying, just leaving out the part about her (and all high risk people) being able to buy a more comprehensive plan for less money.

Now I can say these two things with 100 percent assurance: The ACA did not provide my wife a cheaper option. Even if it is indeed more comprehensive (it in my opinion is not because it limits accessibility to doctors in different networks, something people with major illnesses need often) she did not need a more comprehensive plan. What she had worked for her.

I was happy to see some people come to my defense and call Rob out for his malice and assumptions towards me. That does not negate the fact that this man knowing nothing of me beyond what he may have gleaned from my public Facebook, assumed I was a liar and had some agenda. My only agenda is to be heard, and to help others be heard also. I know there are some dirty lowlifes out there that would lie about illness, but come on, who lies about a family member having cancer.

This is unreal,I am all about “saving the Earth” but at what cost, and come on really how much pollution could one plant be creating? If our testing of nukes did not break her, I doubt some smelter could. I really hope this gets turned around, or I may have max out some credit cards and get a stockpile going.

It amazes me what lengths ungodly institutions will go to in an effort to ensure religion stay in our closets.

School cancels Operation Christmas Child Over Lawsuit Threats

The American Humanist Association has threatened East Point Academy in West Columbia South Carolina with a law suit if they did not stop contributing to the charity.

The AHA claims that:

“The boxes of toys are essentially a bribe, expressly used to pressure desperately poor children living in developing countries to convert to Christianity, and are delivered with prayers, sermons, evangelical tracts and pressure to convert,”

The school states pretty clearly in their response to the AHA ”

“At our school only non-religious items have been collected for the boxes, no religious material is distributed to students or included with the boxes and the school has expended no money for the shipping of the boxes which each voluntary participant paid.No incentives or grades are given for any community service projects.”

I am currently participating in this program myself, through my church. We are a congregation of less than 100 if I had to make a guess, and we are providing nearly 200 boxes. My wife pain painstakingly made hats and scarfs for 3 boxes. My pastors father made hand made wooden race cars for probably 50 boxes, and miscellaneous toys and school supplies have been provided as well. In all the boxes I have personally seen put together, there has not been one piece of religious literature. It is possible, at the receiving end something may be added, I do not know because I am not involved in that, but nothing I have seen on the sending end indicates that.

For those who are unaware of the exact text of the first amendment, which includes the establishment clause, here it is. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances

“The AHA said a public school cannot affiliate itself with a group like Operation Christmas Child without violating the Establishment Clause.” Once again a school is not congress, and sharing religion is not establishing religion. If anything since the school was not funding this, I dare say that the acts of the AHA violate the establishment clause by stopping the free exercise of religion.
Public funds are not being spent on this, the teachers were not ordered to participate, the students, were not given incentives  to help, and Samaritans Purse was not the only way to help offered by the school. This does nothing but stop sharing and good will to the poorest in the world.

So, thanks to a bunch of godless, heartless “humanist” bullies, dozens of poor children will wake up on Christmas morning without a single toy.

I would like to provide you all a bit of information about this group that shut this charity down for this school.

We strive to bring about a progressive society where being good without a god is an accepted way to live life.

Now by the definition of progressivism “the political orientation of those who favor progress toward better conditions in government and society.” they should be in favor of charities that help people. How does stopping a charity that cost the government no money promote better conditions in society? Samaritans Purse, the organization that runs the charity is not wrought with fraud, and has been instrumental in helping so many people in the world with natural disasters poverty, and other issues.

They claim the issue with Operation Christmas Child is that it:

“Operation Christmas Child sends toys to impoverished children overseas expressly as a means to deliver proselytizing messages. The stated mission is to “demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to needy children around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.”

This is true, we are sharing love, but what are you doing AHA? Did you provide the school a secular way to help students give gifts to the poor? Did you start up a charity that would pay for the shipping of boxes that were already filed with presents? No is the answer, all you were concerned about was imposing your extremist views on American children, and protecting people in other countries who are not protected under the American Constitution.

I ask you all, as decent humans, as Americans will you stand by and let children suffer, simply because you desire the destruction of religious liberty?
I ask my religious readers, will you stand by and let this continue? Will you allow groups like this bully you out of every opportunity you have to give?

The world suffers, these boxes give a moments reprieve from suffering. Even if they come with a message that God is kind and loves you, that Jesus is  the savior, children are not forced to accept that message. Is this really a reason to crush small impoverished children all over the world?
